Title says it all. I just pulled off my supercharged head rest wraps and now they look empty. I want some turbocharged wraps.
I made a poll, I cant figure out which I like better....
EDIT: haha, turbosex...

GTP Turbocharged!
...or maybe even Turbocharged GTP
I'd be interested in these as well......
GTP TURBOCHARGED!
I voted plain Turbocharged because to me GTP will always = supercharged. Maybe only TGP, but that could confuse some people.
BTW the second choice says Turbosex, I almost voted for that one
Also isn't it the power 6 emblem and not turbo 6. I thought that some of the no turbocharged buicks also had the 6 logo on them? I could be wrong though............
Well... Ive heard it called power six and turbo six *shrug*.
Im actually having a hard time finding someone that will embroider leather. The couple of places Ive checked wont do it because their machines cant punch through leather.
Hrm... anyone got the hook up on embroidery?
Something similar to these?
Was actually thinking something a little nicer, embroidered, and made out of leather... or at least imitation leather. Matching the interior is a must for me. I want it to look like it came on the car.
yes, I def want some!!
I was going to try and make some out of faux leather. I had a ton of the stuff to match the tan interiors but I couldnt find anything that matched really well with the charcoal like interiors.
Plus, embroidering on leather is a whole different game than on fabric. I can find fabric to match the interiors with little hassle. There is pro's and cons to both, just really depends on what you want.
I would kill to have a full set (3) like the embroidered above. Warrior Racing is no longer in business though.
If someone could get both the turbocharged and the supercharged going again i bet they could make a killing. My mother in law has an em bordering machine but she refuses to make me some. Figure she has the machine she might as well use it. She made me a blanket once. x2.
You know, the funny thing is that I sold several sets of these on CGP. I think I sold somewhere around 5 - 6 sets. I was all set up to knock them out too. I was working on seat belt ones too to match and then the requests just stopped.
I could probably do it again, but it would take me forever to get everything set up. The software to lay out the embroidery was the hardest part. Getting all the settings just so, all the stitches just so (yeah, I could control stitch by stitch where everything went). I had a lot of fun doing it at the time. I still have all the templates that I used though. I wanted to buy a better embroidery machine actually when all the requests stopped.
I wanted to be able to do bigger pieces like the center console lid and the rear seat center piece. I made all of mine though out of heavy duty cloth that would stand up to some washings. Im glad I did now too. With the set I made for my car, the lettering and stuff on the drivers side tends to get a little dirty and with leather I would be stuck. But with the cloth ones I can just clean them up or throw them in the wash and go.
Leather just looks bad ass though...
I cant find any local shops that will embroider leather. Still looking.
let us know if you find anything!
What were you charging for these if I may ask? (The 3 Piece Set that is.)
I can find nobody that will do leather...
Gonna keep looking.
Once I get my embroidery machine I will do it. I am down for anything. Once you do upholstery work on $100k vehichles you aren't afraid to try anything.
Once I get the machine and everything ready, I will just make them for the cost of materials, of course there will be a few freebies given out as test ones/hype.
I will post some pics of my car as of now, when I get a chance. I will also post when I redo the interior soon. I am also working on a slow going project for a somewhat famous pro baseball pither, and then a really trashy f-150 that is getting a full blown redo. The slow going project is a 68' camaro and is just getting resto done but all black suede and leather, the f-150 is getting a custom paint job, pretty much all fiberglass console and sub box behind front seats, 9 tvs, and airbags. So I have a pretty busy schedule outside of work. But I am picture posting whore, so you guys will be with me the whole way. haha.

Have at it bud. Take a voice recorder with you too, LOL. Take notes out the wazoo. I love stuff like that. Take us along on the journey with your pictures and notes.
