Very interesting. Seems like there are a number of cars going for big power this year. Wonder who will get there first?

I don't understand a word in this thread but I love it.
I do work for people on occasion.
A T76 is NOT the turbo to do "low boost power" on, as you are really not even moving into the efficiency range at "low boost". Based on what I have observed on a stock head 3800, you would probably need to be at 30psi to see peak efficiency out of a t76. Every psi I add past 20 adds huge WHP each step up.I guess I failed to mention I was looking to hit 700 on under 22psi.
Doing 700whp under 22psi is most likely not going to be possible without some tricks, but you should be able to do mid 600s without much issue. Manuals are cake to make power on a dyno with.
Its a grudge car, so nobody really knows about it. Me posting about it on here wont get around.Damn! Link to vehicle info and pics?
Its little brother has some videos....
YouTube - Turbo LS1 Camaro Vs Turbo Toyota Supra Race - Payso Productions
Sooooo any updates?
Its still winter in canada.
its always winter in wisconsin too
LOL 700 whp on stock heads? And a rediculous over sized turbo and a manual? Please post this over on the other site so we all can lawlz without getting in trouble.....
did i say stock heads? no.
i have a set of heads from CCH that flow past zzp stage 4 heads
Flow numbers dont really mean **** unless they were flowed on the same bench, same settings, etc.
They have flowed a set of the zzp heads already.
Why all the hate on the 5speed allthe time? I hope you realize I have an 04 comp g that dynoed 581whp at 21psi through an auto aswell. The heads are now off this car and going onto my red 5-speed car.
5 speed is sick, but 6 speed with v8 is sicker
and a carbed v8 with a 4 speed takes skill
kuntzie, update your sig with hellaflush wheels and awesomer dyno numbers

nah super T10![]()
Has nothing to do with hating. It has to do with the truth. Manual numbers are inflated plain and simple. Too bad most people on this forum doesnt understand that. But I guess if it is good enough for the supra crowd then its good enough for us. I do hope you succeed in your build, and hopefully that clutch holds because that would be a great benefit to the fiero world. But to boast about a 700 whp build with inflated numbers is plain asinine.
I dont get this.
He makes horsepower claims.
But I dont see the "oh i'd smoke your car" or "i'll run a faster time than you" claims.
Horsepower is useless if you dont USE it or CANT.
