I was thinking of maybe picking up a ZZP power log. Are these good on turbo cars? Im running a stock front mannie and a ported rear with #6 turned. Would a power log be a good idea or should I just install the ported front I have?
Thanx guys

I think you would be fine, furthermore I do believe they also have a manifold for the rear as well that is like the plog but set up for a turbo.
correct...zzp does sell a powerlog for the rear and is only available for the turbo guys...since you are going turbo'd sounds like your looking for some reasonable power down the road...just think about want you want from your car...then what you need parts wise to make it happen. that way you may be able to save yourself some money down the road.
Just make sure you get the higher quality powerlog since the non-stainless ones can crack under the heat from a turbo.
North American Impala Owners Association Forums-viewtopic-Ticking in my engine bay.... Update!! My power is back kinda
Good info guys. Think I'm lossing power from this OEM Mannie? I was thinking a power log may even help with turbo lag. I have the ported rear now, This one ZZ Performance will not work on my CT kit b/c my waste gate goes over the stock outlet. Mine is a very modded stock rear. ZZP did do the work.
The stock front mani is holding every 3800 back. It sucks. Get rid of it.
Mods are Ct turbo kit, A2A IC, 1.9 rockers, 3" mandrel exhaust, 42# injectors, DHP tuner, I have more im just drawing a blank. Im putting down 412whp so im thinking that mannie is killing me at this point. My last GTP was 390WHP and I had headers on it (but it was a GEN 5 IC set up)
i have the front and rear on a z7 turbo kit it does help with spool
Definitely ditch the front mani, and get a plog. I am now sure if it is still this way but they used to make a normal plog with straight primaries and a turbo plog with angled primaries. Make sure you get one with the angled primaries if you get a used one.
just make sure for option 1 you choose the 304 stainless
