i understand our stock map is a 2bar where its capped at 14.7psi? if i want to increase boost past that, is there anything i should do specifically? do you guys who boost past 14.7 generally upgrade to a 3bar map or something?

so long as your fueling isnt whacky, i dont know why you couldnt just go past it without worrying. youre still running an m90 car, so making more than 14.7 pounds of boost is a lot.
sorry i should change my sig....im running a z7 turbo kit-which is why im in the turbo section.
z7 kit with a T66 turbo. currently im running at ~14psi at ~20-21* of timing with a 10.5AFR and blips of knock(less than 1*). i cannot recall my IPWs. the highest i've seen my maff i need to check my recent scans. im using a LQ4 maff
well gradually i suppose. just got back form a run and its now at 10.05afr lol. but now my ls1m scanner is pegged at 14.35psi as im kinda over the 2bar map running 18* of timing and less than 1* of knock. my IPWs is at ~18-19mS fwiw. LTFTs locked in at +/-0.0
btw, i think my alky controller was spraying during those runs. i turned the "START" to spray the alky all the way to 12psi(farthest it'll go) as well as the "MAX PSI" at 15psi. since im boosting over 14psi i think its spraying causing the rich AFR. i need to disconnect the alky controller totally and see what my AFR is really.
