INTENSE™ Stage 1X Normally Aspirated Cam, duration @ .050": 212º/216º, lobe lifts: .327"/.321", valve lifts with 1.60:1 rocker arms: .523"/.514", lobe separation angle: 113º, intake centerline: 109º
If I had the funds I would, of course, get a turbo cam. I have the N/A cam which doesn't look too aggressive and the LSA is 113. I've read about a guy who used a cam with a 108 LSA for some turbo V6 and claimed that it worked good so that's why I'm curious if anyone has had real world experience with a similar cam to this or expert knowledge on if it'll work well. This is going into an L67 block with stock heads (other than 130lb springs and Manley retainers). ZZP has an N/A GT1 cam which is somewhat similar but with a little less duration and less lift but same LSA of 113 and they state:
ZZP GT1 N/A
- 210°/210° at .050"
- Intake Lift .317" (.507" lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
- Exhaust Lift .317" (.507" lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
- 113 LSA
"It was designed for the NA L36 but will also work well with nitrous or intercooled boost."
Also similar:
Stattama ST2: 212/212 .325/.325 (about .520 lift) 112
Plus, in the Grand National world, the 204/214 cam gets rave reviews though it has long duration on the exhaust side rather than on the intake side and a 112 LSA.
Thanks for your help!
