707 HP, huh? Minding my own busniess (seriously, this time) cruise set at 67 coming down 231 in the Goat, I glance to the rearview and see a snot Green Challenger coming up fast in the left lane. Whatever. 10 seconds later, I glance again and can only see the scoop of his hood directly behind me- I immediately thought- Oh hell yes- Hellcat. He immediately bolts around and to my left, where her continues to bounce on and off the throttle, almost Mustang dickbag worthy. I had already flipped on the bottle heater and arming switch so now I'm just playing the waiting game... Fortunately it was warm so 900 psi came quickly. I gave him the fingers forward to hit it, and he did. 10 cars on him to roughly 140 and tires on fire. I was laughing so hard I had to pull into 231 plaza to wipe the tears from my eyes. He followed and exclaims "That thing is built!" I said yeah, in Australia, cam only 5.7. I heard those make 707 HP, I'm just wondering where you hid the big anchor?

I am so going to hell.

Love it! There's a Sublime Green one here as well I've been trying to catch out and about. I'd love to have a similar outcome.

Great kill, honestly I don't see what's so impressive about the Hellcat to begin with. I'd imagine that a blown 6.2L V8 could do a lot better than 700HP...

Yeah yeah I know, OEM restrictions and all that.

I saw one run a healthy 04 rcsb Silverado from what I could tell. He got his feelings hurt too. I tried to convince myself the Hellcat wasn't giving it 100%, but the exhaust sounded otherwise. I have yet to see one at a track in person to see how well they seem to run with limited variables, but I am not surprised you took him that bad.

4400~ to 3500~...it's quite a bit I'm sure. I love all the people that thing the GTO's are SO HEAVY, when in reality they really aren't. Just are physically large looking cars.

    LOL, Hellcat's are Titanic turds.

Just because they run basement 11's at the strip doesn't mean they'll roll out on the street. A sprayed goat will run it's ass off on the street. Just because it makes 200~ less horsepower doesn't mean jack.

Why anyone wouldn't always use the red key i wouldn't know.

But as you guys might know I work at a Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram dealer. We got a green hell cat and it was gone within 4 days... AND it was marked up by 30k... yes 30k. With the original price of 78k. This dude drove all the way from Wisconsin in sleat and snow to pick it up in Michigan. Don't get me wrong I think it's a pretty cool car and it sounds mean af. But I could thing of better cars to spend 100k on. Saddest part about this entire post.... They wouldn't let me drive it only clean it.

Exactly... I asked my boss why it was marked up so much and he simply said people are buying these like crazy so that's why they put a markup on it.

Chrysler is not happy with the dealers pulling that crap with the inflated prices. They slapped one dealership by pulling their future ability to sell anymore special edition cars.

at the end of the day weight is always a motherfvcker! Ask the guy with a sts-v that got rolled 3 times in a row a few nights ago. Even me on e85 he still should have had about a 100whp more.

i need to get with the program and hook up the nitrous kit!
