Scroll down on this page and look at the ls1 IM vs the ls6 IM

Working on that.
Brian Tooley Stage 3 I think is going to get the job done.
I know the LS6 is much better than the 1, I've just never checked the guts of an LS4, I guess they're really that bad. I knew they bottlenecked pretty bad after the TB.
Yea honestly the ls4 is ****. When u do an IM swap you'll loose a little bottom end torque. But we can spare some of that for more HP

I had enough problems spinning anyways, so a shift up in the powerband wouldn't bother me at all.
7with no tuning but since I already upgraded to the ls7 maf... And ls2 tb at the time of install . it was a 11on a scale of 1-10. The sad part is you get used to the new power fairly quickly and u want more.
I'll have to find some pics but the ls4 im bottlenecks almost half of the inlet after the tb the ceiling of the intake is shallow as hell and compared to the crude ls1 intake, you can see why this is a essential mod.
10-15 whp ....maybe a couple more give or take but the numbers grow way more with the other supporting mods, bigger tb, CAI, maf, exhaust .etc... Headers and intake manifold should put you at 310 whp.
I've never seen a Mustang from behind. Thanks for that new vantage point.
How did I miss that?
Because a tune/intake/exhaust GXP makes 270~.
You're telling me an intake manifold and headers add 40WHEELhp?
This is a LS6 intake LS6TB (75mm just like ours) with a cold air intake and garbage doug thorley headers. he pulled 317FWHP out of it, which aint bad being n/a 5.3. cam will add some pretty huge numbers to the equation remeber our cars dyno stock @ 249 ish whp so not bad at all. the biggest hold back is that ****ty DOD stock cam and our our 5.3 bore size

Hmmm, you have dyno business to show it?
