So yesterday, one of friends who literally got his license that afternoon shows up in his grandma's oldsmobile intrigue that he has been saying will beat my car. Went from a dig to about 60 is all and it wasn't even a contest, I had him by a few solid car lengths as well as his horrid reaction time and launching ability. So my other friend who has a early-mid 90's bonneville thinks he can beat me and his car has over 200k on it and has been flogged like heck. I'm guessing he thinks he can beat me since one he is way over confident and two his can do somewhat of a burnout where mine won't(parking brake basically doesn't work). I know that he won't beat me, but no matter how many times I say it, he still says he will win.

What year is the Bonne? 95+ NA is Series II so it could be close, although an na bonne either had 2.86 (dog) or 3.05 gearing. So you should take him off the line like the intrigue. If it's an ssei.. even a Series I might take you. Charged is charged.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Based on gearing ...you should be able to take him off the line, and you can tell him I said so.

Maybe.. this morning I wasn't racing, but driving fast with a cherokee and then a mustang GT. Once he saw the sequentials on my car he kinda stopped driving erratically (showing off his sequentials) and fell in line behind a fast/slow Buick.
