Here are a couple of runs of an NIC car (the silver one) and an XP car(ride along) having a little fun.

I will let the car owners add their mods so that I dont leave anything out.

Lol you said it was off for the races but it clearly wasnt. I mean its my fault and it doesnt really matter but it explains a lot.
Considering when I punched it that day at 50mph earlier on I still lost traction lol.

Silver car is mine, mods are:
    L26 Block
    NIC cam
    105# valve springs
    Street tune
    3.5" pulley
    Open Cone

And I'm not sure about the XP shift points, but my trans is stock/stock tune.

Edit: yea you still beat me fair and square lol

Right? I have a gen V with a 3.1 pulley, NIC, headers and N* setup and it domestically abuses the street.

Didn't one of the first NIC cammed cars run manifolds anyways? With something dumb like a 2.6" on a GenIII?

nic can run really small pullies, and it really needs to to be effective.

With race gas and a 2.8 I think, according to ZZplease's website.

Any links or any specific throughly explained examples you wish to share to go into more detail?

I wouldn't stress about it too much. Granted the NIC seems to love smaller pulleys than the XP (on similar setups), both are still good cams.

Yea, main reason I didn't wanna push it to the limit was bc of the trans.

With an NIC and headers, I can't see why you couldn't run anywhere from a 3.2-3.3 on a gen 3. With 1.9 rockers, headers, ZZP intake and a 180 tstat I ran a 3.3 on my car before the gen v, cam and N* setup.
