Just got off work and started my drive down route 30 towards home. Minding my own business going around 48-50 mph on a 50mph road. So I'm slowly passing the person in the right lane. As soon as I gained some clearance from the car on my right, the car behind me takes the jump and gets into the right lane. Being the person I am, I made sure we kept around nose to nose. He gets on the gas and so do I, and we have a little go together, and I out pulled him by a half a car length. Going around 70, i back off and slow down so I can actually see what I'm messing around with. We're approaching a red light, and I slow down and see the back of his car. It's a newer Honda Civic Si with tinted windows. So we both approach the red light and I'm thinking, now the fun begins.

So we're sitting at a red light, and I always wait for them to make the move first. We roll off and sure as **** he punches it, so do I. I spin my tires and he gets about a fender on me, after a ****ty shift by him, I let off the gas to gain traction and then stomp on it. Right after that it was game over. I pulled on him all the way up to 70-70mph by a car length or more (couldnt really see). But I gave BMogelin a good show

So after that he stays in the other lane at my back bumper with his tail between his legs. We're approaching another stop light about half a mile up the road. I'm stopped at the light by now and he switches 2 lanes into the left turning lane. I look over and can't really see into the windows, so I just give him a thumbs up for a couple seconds. Then Bmogelin tells me there was a girl in the car. So i look over and see they rolled down their window. Of course it was a kind around my age (18-20) doing the stupid dangling arm over the steering wheel. Then he turns up his system with the bass bumping as if that means anything. They get the green turn light to go and then the blonde girl in the passenger seat yells out the window. Yup thats my story, and im sticking to it. Was fun though.

I just love the way that like 85% of threads in this kill section start off that way....

In all honesty, I've yet to seen any built *ricers*. All I see are fart cannons and stupid appearance mods. I never see tacked on intercoolers or a turbo. Only note worthy ones are lancers, srt4's, cobalts, ect.

take it on a top speed run...thatll give you a run for your money. honduhs make literally no torque, but they can rev foreverrrr, my friend in the local car club has an 08 civic si and he takes it up to 7800 rpm before shifting lol still slow though...i figure with some exhaust mods and intake work ill be able to take him.

But i mean, looks how old our cars are and the technology behind them lol. Its understandable.
But ya I know our top end sucks, but i'd never race that fast, screw that. 1/4 mile is fastest I'll go i'd say. No need to exceed well over 100 on the open road.

You clearly haven't seen a legitimate turbo honda.

You think they're surprised being beat in a stock Grand Prix, try doing it in a stock Oldsmobile Intrigue...so many looks of confusion lol.

This. There are a few street driven 10 and even 9 second Hondas around here, and I live in Podunkville.
