06. Lets see...engine cover and spare tire.

was that why she said that?!!!?!?!??!
LMFAO
You are nowhere close to 3200.
Fem...do you even know what all you have to take out to get to 3200??
alot of crap. lol at the engine cover....good job taking off all of a pound
I weighed my car at a weigh station. Im pretty sure the scale made for CARS is right.
Idk if that level of stupidity is common around your parts. I dont know anyone who thinks those two items would take that mich weight off.
Assumed common sense would be applied. You asked what I took off. I told you. Those are the only things. Never did I imply that was the reason.
Ive never seen a car weigh what it says from factory. My dad is a truck driver who has to get his truck weighed regurlarly. For giggles we put mine up there when I drove behind him one trip. Thats what tje scale said.

6th gen cars are around 3500...7th gens are about 3700..so please explain how a spare tire and engine cover weigh 500 lbs?
mustang threads get so much play.

Oh, somebody just got called FOS... Well, Somebody has been FOS since they got here.
Fem said 3200.
Obviously since the engine cover weighs a pound according to you Mike, then the spare tire and all the other crap in the trunk must weigh 299lbs.
C'mon now...common sense.
For ***ks sake, what's wrong here as of late?
You're Grand Prix dry weighs from the factory over 3,400lbs...where did you lose all the weight Fem? Seriously?
You know, it's been forever since I had a conversation about weigh stations and truck scales. I seem to recall that if the scales are DOT certified then they need to be within 15/20 pounds. However, I do remember other's saying that alot of them have a min. weight, something like 6k pounds. Anything less than that, may not read accurate. Somebody with some trucking experience needs to set us straight on that.
*shrug* All im telling you is that the scale read a bit over 3200. That was before I got my new wheels though.
I never said the tire and cover was what took the weight off. Y'all asked and I replied truthfully with what Id done.
That's not as badazs as the 4 door El Camino I drive by sometimes.
