Was it Your first time with the regal at the track? I'm always of the mindset that if it's your first time, as long as fun was had its a success.

Tires make a huge difference. I'm looking to get to the track with my 555r tires soon. If I do I'll post a slip too so you can laugh at it. It'll be sad.

Thought you was gonna smack down Grape with that thing, SD. Ha! Looks like you had fun. Makes me want to try the GTP out.

Good job Scott.. I told you last night, I pulled a 2.+ on full drag slicks. The excitement from all the flashing lights and ability to speed w/o worrying etc... it makes a guy slap the pedal way too hard. Because we all know on the street, you can control the spin perfectly.

I won't tell you how I was pissy about a 14 second run until my buddy reminded me.. I was in the left lane. (Cam, headers, n*, Gen V 3.4" pulley and 3.29's in the trans, with a crappy driver)
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Fun night at the track with Scotty. Car: 2000 Regal GS, Mods: Togs, 3.4mps, AL104's, gutted factory air box and trans-go shift kit. Still chasing down some false KR so car dumps the timing into the negatives after shifts. No weight reduction and tire pressure was 28. Was in the mid high 80s for temp. Track was dam slippery as I watched a 08 jeep srt8 run a 14.0, a coyote run a 14.1 and a r/t charger run a 15.4. But I was happy with my time, just wanted to hit a 14 and not break anything lol. This was my first time at the track with the Regal and most importantly I had a blast. My track # is 5929. Both runs no burnout or water box. 1st run traction control off, performance shift on and car in D4. Spun horribly got off the throttle and back into it and continued spinning this resulted in my awesome 2.7*60 foot and a 15.7 1/4 ol. 2nd run deflated tires to 28psi, TC on, car in D3 and rolled off the line and feathered the throttle and managed to hit a 14.6* but my 60 foot was still not great at 2.3*. Cant wait to get my gen v on and bring her back.

Keeping TC on was most of the problem...slick track or not. That car doesn't make enough power where it's not easily handled by holding it in a certain gear and feathering it.

Great time! Makes me sad that it takes all that work to get mid 11's with our platform.
But that takes nothing from you. Great run!

Everything has been updated to this point.

Does anybody have any more timeslips that need to be added?

I'm sorry I neglected the thread for a while. It looks like your timeslip pic was taken down. Can you re-host it, and I'll get you added.
