Thread: 04 gtp vs 1999 gtp

me and my buddy were on are way to another friends house to meet up for some bdubs (buffalo wild wings). i was in the 04 gtp in front of him going 60 and he was right on my ass and i told him to pass me and when he gave it i gave it too. he got to my back bumper and staid there until about 115 then i started to pull away until i hit the governor at 124.

all i have is a cold air intake and exhaust, and he just has exhaust. i was surprised how close we were. i know not really a kill but a comparison lol.

Good job. I recall when I ran a GTP like that on a roll when I had my '04 GP-GT (2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT (GT1) 1/4 mile trap speeds 0-60 - DragTimes.com). I got ahead down low and then he took a long time to finally reel me in near 80 and barely pass me. I was very surprised I didn't get stomped bad.

yea its crazy how close these cars are
