I was headed home from a "work meeting" at the local fun park last week and went around a red GT mustang who was following some slow car. He buzzed by me a minute later, then slowed. He revved it once and let it back down. We slowed to about 60, then he just took off. I take off after him and rather quickly catch up and pass. Since both our windows were down, I gave a polite wave as I moved by. By about 110ish, I let off and he flew by me and just kept on going. (sore loser? or wanting more? I wasn't sure)

I know it had exhaust and am assuming at least an intake if not something else. It sounded pretty nice when he took off, though.

It's always nice to put one of those mustang guys in their place.

Awsome kill man. I feel the same as you. I have a friend that has a 04 and wants to run. He has a little work, exhaust, intake, coil packs, and a few other things. I told him to let me get mine tuned first.

Thanks. I honestly don't know what kind of 1/4 mi. I would run. The car's never seen a track. The closest one is a 1000ft 2-3 hours away, then there's Tulsa, which is a bit more in the other direction. If I get my recent oil issue figured out, I plan on making it out to a track sometime before it gets too cold.

Back when I had my 97 I had the same mod's for a while. It would do very low 14's high 13's... The colder the better.... I would run 110 leaded octane with the 3.25 and lean it out... That's when it would go high 13's... A normal time was 14.0 at 99mph...
