Do a compression test and a leakdown test then send your oil out for analysis.
That should give you a good idea of the health of your motor.
Ever had your blood drawn and the doc tells you what contents your blood has high levels of...vs. lower levels..
Kinda like that.
Not sure...I've never done it.
I wish Scotty was still on here...he worked for AMSOil and always had TONS of useful info when it came to oils, breakdowns...what to buy and what not to buy.
I don't think your Aztek could hang bro
Noob please, Geos duck me when they see me out. And I'm pretty sure it's a drivers race between me and an aspire. I'm not sure where you get your information, but it's a known fact that Pontiac underrated the Aztek for insurance purposes.
I got intake, rims, and exhaust anyway bro. Don't come at me bro.
70HP in that gocart would be a fun ride, lol. Some people will take the 1.3L G13BB engine from the Suzuki swift GTi and put it in the metro (same body). They are rated for 100HP (no bad for a 1.3L) and they rev in the 7-8K RPM range. Fun little cars when you put them on a diet.
Mine probably weighs around 1600-1700 pounds. It's been gutted out pretty much.
Oil tests arent too expensive if i remeber like $55 and usually they will flag anything that is excessive.. you can identify by certain metals. like say metal "A" is high so you have bearing wear. Or you have excessive fuel in the oil, bad rings. its all broke down, to even minerals and sometimes addative packages.
