06 SS has a 5.3L V8. If you stayed with him or beat him then he obviously wasn't trying. same goes for the 2000 GT, '95 SS Impala, and GTX.. They all run low to mid 14's while you run 16's-17's (probably slower with all the added weight from the rims and whatever else you might have). Not even a stock GTP would beat those and you're trying to tell me your n/a GT does? Lay off the bottle man because that isn't happening

Yea your opinion compared to my facts all the cars i raced we were already drivin except for the 05 mustang we were at a dead stop so that doesnt count nothing into 1/4 mile times except that 1. 1/4 races are from dead stops mostly all of mine are at rolls of at least 35mph or higher. And gtx try 250hp my friends has the slp exhaust and ram air hood. An yea i never said my car was completly stock either and its 200 not 195 get the facts right an it makes sense 1/4 mile times cannot determine altogether how fast your cars it jus says how fast u can go in the 1/4 MILE. thats like sayin u could beat a turbo gp in the 1/8 but it can get u in the 1/4 so which is fastest? alot of cars perform different at different speeds
An almost all the races i was runnin on stock tires except for the me and my friends gtx and the fox body. 20's just recently put on a couple months ago
the GT is 200 at the crank, so you make 160 to the wheels. my car was a L36 i had every mod and i put down 200 to the wheels on a mustang dyno my best 1/4 mile time was 14.9 @93...with the m90 bolted on i made 295 to the wheels and went 13.0 @104 so to say the little m90 is garbage you have no idea what youre talking about. the L36 is a dog with no boost.

Just out of curiosity, why didn't you just slow down when you got close to the van? You were "winning" correct? My ricer rule book is a little dusty, but I think it says that "He who is in front and must brake for traffic will be declared the winner of the race, even if the opponent is accelerating at a greater rate." BTW, things like this are always better when accompanied by a video.

i'm gonna be cool and not say anything about racing on the highway, but what all mods do you have? cause 240hp < 200hp. the gt's 3.29 gearing makes up down low but you run out of anything special after first gear, get to 70mph and you're done for. a gtp runs a second and a half-ish better in the quarter mile? not saying it can't be done, but intake work and a tune isn't gonna do it. it's probably just because you hit the gas before they do, meaning your car is accelerating a good couple of seconds before theirs is. a 94 beretta with a 3.1 pulled on me just because of that fact alone.

I said the car that traps higher in the 1/4, not how fast you can get your car up to on the longest straight way that's xxx miles long. For example, if i was racing an 850hp evo and he runs a 14.00 because hes spinning down the entire track but, traps 160, and i run a 13.7 @ 102, Well yeah i technically won but, I would see it as a pity win.

Yall gtp ares not that quick i raced them b4 u are faster than my car but NOT THAT MUCH i drove my friends gtx so i know from both sides of the motors. When i raced the 04 gtp it was so close at first that i thought it was a gt until he past me and i seen the gtp emblem. An i never said my car was ''FAST'' i said it was quick for a all motor car an compared to the cars i beat i think it can hold its own pretty well. My own car surpises me sometimes with my wins or cars thats SUPPOSEDLY are faster than mine barely pullin ahead. By the way forgot about a couple of other wins i had. 94 or 95 mustang gt got him by like 2 car lengths b4 i was done and a lexus is300 both were on the highway. And for the one guy who said he had everthing done to his an only put 200 to the wheels look up milzy motorsports.com they have a gt N/A that they put 246 to the wheels i think if not more so no ya didnt have all the gadgets u thought ya did.

I have xp performance exhaust, k and n filter, hawk brakes, gm perfomance sway bar and some piece i bought from the internet u suppose to put it in ur intake and it gives u a lil extra power u will find the ads in the back of motor trend magazines all the time. Not much i know but i was all about looks at first now i want it to perform good as well
man, that's not gonna do it. the gtp and the gt were built for different reasons, gm made sure there was a performance difference. street racing doesn't do much to prove what's faster, just too many variables. if you would go to a track and stage up against a few of these cars, you'd get demolished. any almost stock gt would. the n/a 3.8 was made to be bulletproof and outlast the rest of the car, not to race
so youre going to tell me about my car, what does milzy have a cammed 3800? dynojet? seeing as how you put an ebay piece in your car i now know my car is far inferior...i guess my 12 second GTnowP is no match for your ebay special
