i was wondering about the coolent lines. i kinda liked the idea of them on the driver side, seems like you would run into issuies with them on the passenger side hitting the belts

I think he meant diver's side since he said they would be easier to keep away from the belts.

Yeah my supercharge belt all ready ate my coolant overflow hose once.

yea id rather not take the risk. have plenty of room on the other side.

Wow, you guys really need to reassess what you are doing with your intercooler lines. Mine are routed just fine with no chance of them getting chewed up.

well if i had some i would reassess....


ive heard issuies with it before so why not just send them out the other side???

If you can get your launch down I'd be willing to bet you could have a screamin run. Every tenth in the 60' you can take off is a lot on the e/t you can shave.

1/10 in the 60' is roughly 2/10 in the quarter. I managed a 2.15 with cheap tires, and there is more there to be had. A good launch should easily be in the 2.0X region.

It was my overflow tank line that got ate up. It was in the factory location with factory tab holding it. It must have came loose or something. I zip tied it out of the way now.

Man, I ran a 9.451 @ 73 in the 1/8 with a 2.097 60'. Where are you located? Good track prep or what? Just trying to wrap my mind around that time. I wouldn't think my NA 3800 is that much faster.

hes top swaped with no tune, its probably knocking like hell

If he mustered the same 60' as you he would have been faster than you...although still slow for what it is. A tune can take care of that.

Tune before you go balls-out anymore. Unless you like motor swaps.

Hmmm...maybe try and install your water meth on the pulley you have now if you were pulling times like you did.

does it read while the car is runnin?? if so get someone to ride shotgun and watch it while you flog it.
