PontiacGTPSE was asking about a race with the same cars but I wanna no what my outcome might be. There is a 2 dudes that ride around at a car hang out spot around here that always have something negative about my gtp that is sounds like a pissed of bumble bee and and they brag about how bad ass there ****stang sounds so good because its a v8 with a exhaust. As far as i know its stock other than exhaust. Mabey cold intake or something. I really would love to put those ass's in there place. Im about to have a DHP pcm installed In a week to acompany my mods listed below. Think I could take him? Not sure on his exact year just know its a fox body

If they are manuals, you can hope they do not know how to drive. Take the driver out of the equation and you are beat pretty handily. Get a few more modifications under your belt before you go picking the fight, and then you should have them.

well in stock form the make about 220 at the the crank, roughly 185 at the wheels. stock with a good driver i have seen them go low 14's but being its an auto, should be relativly close. if not you wont be to far behind.

225HP, 300FT.LB. at the crank. The exhaust probably opened up a few more horsepower. The auto should still manage mid-14's, which is enough to put a mostly stock GTP in the rearview. A few easily changes to the GTP should make things more interesting...as always.

well my brother has an auto 94, not the foxbody but still the 5.0, he weighed in around 3350 with back seats removed and some other stuff. foxes usally weigh in around 3250 or so.

he has 4.10 gears with a shiftkit. cai, midpipe to flowmaster turndowns, plugs, wires, tb, msd desribetor and it runs mid to low 14's. a 50 shot got it to 13.8 at 98 on drag radials.

the cars are old and a little worn out.

good luck and hopefully the tune helps you out

well you should be able to beat him, i race my friends 89 5.0 with an intake and exhaust all the time for fun, i usually end up winning but they pull harder than a gtp on the top end so you might want to take the hit if you arent that good at launching your car, but it is a very even race
