did you spin the tires at all on the runs? if you let off it shifts to second and dogs, and theres the time gone. been there.

Still seems like tire spin with the 60 foot and traction control/stabiltrak kicking in. Only way to completely disable the system is to pull the ABS fuse.

A better launch with a good 60 foot should gain you back a half second. Lower tire pressure up front, run the highest grade premium you have around, remove any random weight.

sounds about right especially the DA (according to dragtimes the DA was ~1450 feet) and a headwind on a basically stock L32 with a 2.15-2.20 sixty footer. if the runs where he was in the 16s that his sixty footers were higher than 2.19 that would explain the lower end trap speeds.

I had similar results a couple months ago. Ran a 15.6@87 with 2.3 60ft. I didn't hear it feel tire spin and my buddy looking from the stands said the same thing. Mods were just come filter, headers with cattless downpipe.

Without a log file of the run you'll never know.

Though I still think it has nothing to do with the computer at all. With the ABS fuse pulled, traction control disabled the computer is not just going to yank power away and make it slower. It's not even making enough power to put it in an abuse mode or limp mode situation and retard the power.

Keep in mind with a perfect launch and perfect weather conditions the car is likely to only run a 14.5-15.0 quarter mile time. Any hesitation off the line or any slow launch/wheel spin will take many tenths off your time.

If you don't drag race it every weekend it's hard to get a rhythm down to get the best results.

    ok
    but 60' was from 2.19 to 2.5
    that not 15.3 to 16.7
spin does not take away 9mph
    from 1000' to 1320 i lose .3
    that is not spin
    it is not missing

vicg, how did you accelerate off the line? did you:
1-brake torqued it close to converter limit
    2-gradually eased into the throttle
3-aggressively planted the pedal to the metal?

also any idea on what tire pressure did you run on all of the runs? did you even touch the tire pressure and if not, what pressure do you usually run it at?

I see the cat removal and resonator removal making no difference. For sure the resonator, it more than big enough to flow enough gases through it. Stock exhaust sizing isn't an issue until well over 300whp. You're car maybe makes 220whp give or take.

    ???
These cars weigh under 3500 lbs.
    Why a 300+ lb difference?

I'm also confused as to how you lost so much ET.
In your thread asking about headers you said,
    "i have ran 14.31 at 92 on a 14.85 index..."
