So we just got back from 3 weeks out in the middle of the woods, where we actually tried to keep everything clean so it would be easier to clean when we got back.

As always, plans changed and we got the opportunity to take our trucks and equipment through an automatic tank cleaning wash. But they weren't dirty enough to make it worth the process... Our commander said "Give me one hour".

Long story short, we went to an old dirt road right next to a creek and made a mess. After 10 minutes of just going back and forth getting all of the dirt turned into mud... We all started racing each other. Lol

These are HMMWV's; diesel V8 powered, 8,000-10,000 lb pickups basically. Max speed is between 45-70 mph. Lol

They generally take about 30 seconds to reach 35 mph. So none of this racing was in any way fast... And thankfully nothing broke too much, a few popped hoses and leaks but nothing serious.

But after winning 4 races in a row, I switched trucks with almost everyone else at least once, sometimes twice. Still kept winning every single one, and I'm glad that every truck sucks equally.

I has a driver mod installed...at least for HMMWV mud racing. Lol

FWIW, I don't know if that transfers to actual strip or street, but I made trucks that don't go fast, go less slow than everyone I work with. That counts for something, right? Lol

the hmmv is possibly the most gutless vehicle I've ever driven, those things need turbo's like nothing else.

Me either, those seats were so much more comfortable than the square of half inch foam in our hmmv's. Lol
