    Hi ,I have 1 broken TPMS sensor and was wondering if I but one with the same part number will I be able to install it myself, I know there is a relearn procedure I can do myself but is there something lese that would have to be done, I am getting conflicting stories on the web..thanks.

    Youd have to use a scan tool. To actually program it. After you install it, with the ignition to the on position(not started), hold the lock and unlock buttons. The car will beep twice, then you can scan all 4 wheels beginning with the left front, rf, rr, and lf. Done

    Some new sensors also need that scan tool to "bring them to life" so to speak.

    Chuck, did you try one? I have a 2007 GXP that the LF metal one was leaking. Local tire store put a kit in and fixed the leak, but now the sensor is reporting 1 lbs. My thought is if I replace it, to go back with rubber so it will not be as hard to fix in the future. Again, just curious what you found out?
