i trolled cl for 6 months looking for almost every 5x115 factory wheel i could find. till i settled on a set of sts caddy wheels. got lucky and they were not bent, had tires on them that held air too.

    best $200 mod yet.

I know some places sell referbished rims, but not sure what places would be around you. My work can buy "new" rims from certain wheel dealers when someone bends or cracks a rim.

its long road i know. i also lucked out and found a set of 17's with snow tires mounted on them already. the wheels were in rough shape, but nothing sand paper and plastidip couldn't fix. hell winter wheels right.

I've been trying to track down one factory wheel for my car for over a month now. I found refurbished ones on eBay but they want $150 plus shipping. I did find a used one on eBay for $65, but it looked like sh!t. I emailed a guy on CL this weekend that had a whole 06 with a bad transmission. He said he would part the car out if necessary, but I haven't heard back from him yet.

Haven't lucked into any in a junkyard yet either. If GP's didn't have 225's on them I would just put my Konig Villains on the car, but 225's on a 9" wide wheel would look ridiculous.

Any place you might find that sells new or refurbished factory wheels is probably going to want no less than $150 per wheel. Your best bets are forums like these, CL and eBay.

Which wheels is it that you're looking for? I know you said torque stars, but those weren't available in chrome from the factory. Only silver, or polished (which looks chrome).

i have a 04 gtp and the factory torque stars evidently came as an option? i cant remember the # on the rim off top of my head..something something 56 i believe. the ones ive seen used are as bad as mine with all the peeling and flaking of the chrome... ive found refurbished chrome torque stars but are usually in the 250-299 range on ebay, way outa range for them! ill keep trolling around something will come up

They aren't the chrome but i think its pretty close to you and it's $100.00 for them, just one of them needs a tire too.

Ah. That's why I was asking which wheels they are. The ones referred to as "torque stars" by the GP community are below, and were not available in chrome. Just silver and polished.

The '04 & up 17" wheels you're talking about are usually referred to as "twisted" 5-spokes.

They came in chrome, but as with most GM wheels, the chrome plating peeled and pitted really badly. Honestly, even if you had the good fortune of finding a clean set, they wouldn't last much longer. You'd be best off just getting your wheels redone, but that won't be cheap, either. It's either that, or resorting to the silver version of the wheels.

There was an ad on Kijiji out of Alberta for some brand new chrome torque stars a few weeks back. buddy was asking $1200, but the ad is gone now.

Around here, re-chroming is just shy of $200 per wheel, so I would look into this option.
