...have fun trying to fit a wheel with okay specs now that you've got an automatic 30mm more offset.

I don't plan on it honestly. But there are wheels out there to suit every situation.

i think you can get adapters in as little as 15mm thick, but the issue with that is you'd have to trim down the stock wheel studs. 25mm or more allows you to not have to do that in most cases.

This is correct, though there are pockets in-between the stud holes on my wheels that allow the studs some clearance before touching the wheel so I wouldn't really have that problem.

Everything is on officially, one wheel needs to be repainted due to clearcoat peeling. Just need to figure out where I can get a paint match for Pontiac's silver wheels.
Also, I'll be ordering coilovers next weekend because I have a one finger gap in the back and two in the front, not on my watch!

There will be more pics in my build thread tomorrow at different angles if anyone cares.

    I guess I don't see the point.

Why not run an 8.5" wheel with a 30 or 36mm offset?

Or you could run virtually any 114.3 wheel that you want.
I'm not hating, just unsure of the point, especially when you're already not flush with an 8" wheel. Basically handicapped yourself into running >8" wheel

Like this guy said: ...have fun trying to fit a wheel with okay specs now that you've got an automatic 30mm more offset

    Clean car though!

Well I'll eventually upgrade to the WS6 Trans Am wheels that are 17x9 with the same offset of the wheels I have now, then I'll be able to run a summer tire on those. I really like the style of these wheels because I feel they match the car pretty well also. I don't feel like buying new wheels for this car anymore, I'm just about done with it.

If you run those wheels with the same offset, you'll be sticking out yet another inch.
