Hey guys, I am looking at picking up some drag radials and had a couple ideas. I was thinking about picking up a pair of wheels just for the drag radials. What wheels would you recommend for this? Would I be able to find any good drag radials for my torque stars? Thanks for the help.

Wheels don't matter so much as the tires. On my G8 I just picked the cheapest ones that fit with the tires I got. Had I had more money I would have picked the lightest.

Definitely get a separate set of wheels for DR's, a set of torque stars or something similar will work fine on the strip for 255's or a 26/8.5 . As afar as what tires to get it really depends on what your trying to do with them. Street DR's like nittos are worthless really unless you have a 600hp turbo beast and need them just for DD and to drive the car normally. I have Mickey Thompson ET Streets they are decent and you can drive to the track or cruise for the weekend on them but their not really a street tire. They improve grip a lot on the street even cold and they hook hard on a prepped track. The next step from there is if your looking for a track only tire like a Hoosier quick time pro. I've never used them so I don't really know much about them
