they are the same rims as those at 17 inch, with p235/55r17 mounted on them already. Will these tires rub? and how much will it throw off the spedo? my car isn't dropped.

I installed 235\55\17 Goodyears on my sons 04. They fit tight but no rubbing.

That is a tall tire but they will be fine.
