225 is not only thing that grips... And biggest isn't always best!
First thing is how much you want to spend? Go from there...
Bridgestone Portenza RE970AS 225/50r16 Is my recommendation.
well could i run like a 245 on stock rim? and i really like cragars so i might get one of those ill update the data on them if they clear the brake setup
i think i like these cooper sport a/s z rated tires
245/50/16 is the biggest you can really run on the stock 16x6.5 rims.
For our cars tire width really does not mean anything. Its all about suspension and tire quality.
You got crap suspension and tires, it wont grip the road. And its FWD with tons of torque.......
get some 245-45-18 with some achilles atr sport they fill the gap nicely and grip like mad thats what im runnin on my gtp
I like the look of the stock 16s and ima powder coat them black eventually
then keep stock 225/60/16 or +10 and go 235 and go for a quality tire with a temp and traction rating of A-AA and treadwear well above 300 and youll b happy as long as your fragrance of choice is not burning rubber
why powder coat??? get some rustoleum enamel spray paint and enamel crystal clear coat and it looks the same if you do it right
I think the 245-50-r16s should fit they have AA traction rating and A for temperature and have a tread of 400 and they're all season
ok ill buy 4 rs3-a and 2 drag radials are the rs3-s drag radials?
No but they are all season tires. There good tires but don't except some awesome traction with them.
the rs3-s is a summer only ultra high performance tire and i wish someone culd tell me a good deal on the racing street tires not slicks but racing street tires
Nittos or et streets.
