Would trans am wheels that are 17x9 fit the grand prix
no.
gp's are 5x115 and can fit 5x114.3
When I said 17x 9 I meant 17 inch wheel 9 inch wide the bolt pattern on the trans am is the same as the gp
no, its not.
I'm sorry your right
its all good. GL on the wheel search. chaeck out bio's wheel article in suspension. Good stuff
GP's have 5x115 or 114.3.. Firebirds, Formulas, and TA's have 5 x 4.75 inch or 121mm.
I have a 95 Formula with Z06's and yeah I'd LOVE to put those rims on my GP but
Thanks for the info appriciated
^^^ looks tits!
About an inch was the thinnest the company I went with made them. Any less and you start to run into strength issues since you're basically bolting on a new set of lugs. Vette whees are already something like a 50ish offset IIRC, so you could run them with adapters and they would fit perfect.
adapters have grown on me just because i could swap to 5x114.3 bolt pattern and my wheel options skyrockets, but i would always prefer the correct set of wheels over adapters.
