I have 17x8s (i think they 8) Bullit rims on my GTP.

Just shreaded one of the tires. (stock 245/45/17)

So I am getting new tires now, and need to now a good size to run.

the stock mustang 245/45s were a bit "small" looking.
    (left alota wheel gap)

The width is fine. never had issues.

I was thinking of running 245/55/17s
    Or
    245/50/17

Would the new hight + the width cause any issuses?

If I go up in hight should I drop a width? (235/55/17)

I am really looking for sum1 that use these rims and could tell me ,or show me, there tire setup.

    *I have stock suspension*

    thx

235/55/17 is stock 04-05 Impala SS and Monte SS size so I would go with that.

That 235/55/17 is also the stock tire size for a '05+ Mustang wheel.

If they are '99-'04 Bullitt's...a 245/45/17 is correct IIRC.

The problem with the wheel gap is that you are not lowered...not that the tire is an incorrect size.

I've got bullitts and im running 235/55/17, its what was on there when I bought them. Looks alright, still needs to be lowered but its a touch bigger than stock.

245/45 is correct for a Mustang, not for a GP.

Run 245/50. It will be perfect and have the stock wheel gap.
