Thanks for that info man! Is their any 18" OEM options for the 5x115" bolt pattern?

GXP wheels.
But they're still not OEM for your car.
if the hub bore is actually 73mm then they will fit fine, if they are slightly small you might need to space them out or bore out the hubs so they fit right.
otherwise everything else is 100% golden.
So im still trying to learn this whole offset business. The site indicates that these will fit our GPs but wanted to understand what this 42MM offset will be like compared to stock I dont need them to be flush (although that would be great!) but I just want wheels that resemble the G8 GT rims that we cant run on out model. What are your thoughts and suggestions about these?
Bremmer Kraft BR05 Bright Silver Paint
the stock offset is +52mm. therefore with the same WIDTH wheel, they will stick out 10mm more than stock. any wider of a wheel will also add 'poke' ((bigger width-smaller width)/2).
Ok thanks for that got any pics to give me a visual? Im just havin a hard time envisioning it? Also is our stock wheels 8.5" wide? If I want a wheel to run flush or reasonably flush how wide of a wheel should I be lookin for?
@Silvaman61 what do you mean about not knowing about the fitment?? Will these wheels not bolt up to our setup?
Thanks for that break down, anyone running that setup on their GPs id love to see it. Either way I think three quarters is more then enough fill for me to be happy. Now running those wider tires will reduce my mileage correct? I always figured rolling bigger wheels diameter wise would reduce MPGs but how about width?
My 97 has those AWESOME swirly spoke rims now but I love my 01 rims the five stars. If I wanted to get those and just have them fit better would I just get spacers? I only ask because if my MPGs are hit too hard by goin wider I may just opt to finding a used set of the stock rims so long as i can have them fill out the well better.
Those look great! What kind of wheels are those? By bigger tire do you mean diameter? Im thinkin once I lower it it will fill up the well nice enough.
There Mille Miglia evo5. My tires were 235/40/18 and it didn't look right, they were way too low profile. I suggest 245/45/18 regardless of lowering. There are also a few other tire options, but that is the closest to stock diameter.
@Silver GTP cant wait to see em!!
looking forward to seeing those
just about perfect fitment. i would say 'perfect' for people avoiding fender work is +38mm offset, but you should be fine with that offset too.
they will be semi-flush and you MIGHT have fender rubbing issues depending upon your suspensions age. rolling the fenders isnt too hard if necessary. i would run a 245/45/18 tire on that wheel for sure.
