since the gxp wheels are staggered in the front would staggared wheels for rwd cars fit that way i can still have a wider rim up front

What's the max diameter and width you can do on an 07 gxp? I'm almost positive these are too big, and I will sound like an idiot, but just double checking...

Thanks :3
whats up fellas, Ive been away for a while ha..havent done anything to my car for a long time, and recently I stumbled across the huge Fatlace/Hellaflush movement. And bio I was wonderin, exactly how hard would it be to slam a gp with a spring/strut combo and put some deep dish rims on that will sit flush with the fenders, because the 97-03 bodystyle just begs to be hellaflush and Im kinda itching to do it
thanks,
-nick
depends what you wanna do, send me a pm and ill answer whatever you wanna know.
best bet is to research 'stanced', 'flush', 'hellaflush', etc. most of them run coilovers with stretched tires and good amounts of negative camber. it also takes a little fender work (rolling and pulling).
I think thats mostly for sixth gens to start with.
it works for pretty much all of them. everything 97+ has pretty much the same wheel and body characteristics. you can probably get away with more wheel on the 04+ cars cause the fenders are freakin huge.
Hey Bio, Im not a rim guy but what are the stock five spoke specs?
And I want to get this tell me what you think, http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand
16x6.5" +52 MM offset.
I think those are okay but you can do much better.
so what aspect ratio are people running with 17's i am thinkin of goin 245/45/17 on my bullits and then dropin about an inch maybe inch n a half.... anybody ever run that kind of setup?
jayn - Yes, it will run fine...
With that tire though your speedo will be off by ~3%. Also, an inch drop is not really noticable on the prix. More popular tire choices for 17' wheels are 235/50 and 235/55 (but that also messes up the speedo by ~2%)
iroc2 - depends on where you live. Shipping wheels to get them powdercoated cheaper somewhere else would be pointless.
I got the opportunity to buy a set of lightly used (2 seasons) Metal FX M40's for 3 bux. Guy doesn't know anything about rims and says they were on a 01 strat 4 door. Dimensions are 235/40/R18. Guy doesn't know the offset. They're wrapped in Nanking tires. Yea or nea? ASAP responses would be great...
