I just picked up a set of 18 inch chrome Mille Miglia Evo 5's with tires for a real good price. All the rims are perfect except one that has chrome peeling around the center of the rim. What can I do to get this fixed or if anybody has tips to keep it from spreading I would really appreciate it.

Here is a pic of that rim:

Yea I decided to go through with it after seeing a burgundy Grand prix with chrome rims on it. I really liked how it looked, but I don't like this peeling. I think I might just stick them in the back of the car or try and sell them again...

i hope you didnt pay a lot for those. there isnt anything you can do about that unless you want to strip them and rechrome them.

Whats the big deal? Goes along with your current theme. Just like your crooked muffler tip.

I paid $275 for all four, with basically new tires. I might buy a replacement rim since this is the only rim that I'm having peeling on.

    Sport Edition KV5 Chrome Plated

    That's the same rim right?

    Cool Thanks Street

I might just buy a replacement rim since rechroming probably costs a lot more then a new rim. I guess it'll be my christmas present to my self.

    Nice GTP's by the way

Thats what I would do, buy a replacement.

Thanks, picture is my car on the left and Iron Indian's car on the right. The wheels are not mine. I was using them temporarily, but they are indeed the exact ones in the link, and they're great quality. I wouldn't be concerned with using one as a replacement for the real deal.

They look pretty awesome. To bad I have to wait until summer to put them on, Michigan winters kill chrome rims.

Is there any real difference between the KV5's and Evo 5's? I think I'm gonna take the center cap off of the Evo and put it on the KV5. But are they made of a different material or something?

I don't see a real noticeable difference between the two when 'eying' them. I'm assuming the center cap should be interchangeable unless they're a slightly different size for some odd reason, which by eye they do not appear to be.

The KV5 center cap is plastic, and the Evo 5's is metal though correct? Not that it would matter on fitment, but I think thats the only real difference between the two.

Bio you serious? They look EXACTLY the same. I might have to post a pic of them to see people's reactions but I think they are exaclty the same minus the center cap.

And I think the center cap is metal, I'm not sure. They are in my shed right now, will play with them tomorrow. Turkey time right now

The evo's and KV-5's will have noticeably differences when put on the same vehicle. They are similar, but you can see the differences.
