Thread: Chrome Comp-G Wheels

For those who have the 17" 5 spoke twisted chrome Comp-G wheels, how bad do they actually pit? Also, do they ever pit on the face of the wheel, or just on the inside?

I plan on buying a set for my 01, the seller says he has pitting on the inside, just wondered if it transfers to the outside of the wheel...

eventually the chrome will just peel right off them and you wont be able to hold air pressure because the beads will be all screwed up. if they are already pitting pretty decently then i would skip out on them.

Damn. They look so good though. I guess ill pass for now, or find a set with no rot since my car wont be driven in the winter anyways.
