I just got an 07 GXP. It does not have the original rims but aftermarket larger rims. Love the 5.3 torque and dang it looks good. It dosn't have the tire pressure stims. The Speedo has a warrning light saying low tire pressure which is kind of annoying.

Can I add pressure sensor stims to the large rims?

if your rims don't have the sensors then your going have to add them if that's even possible

I don't have the original rims or sensors and am leaning on taking them to the Pontiac dealer to see if they can set it up on the aftermarket rims, but if I can do this myself it sure would save me some $$$$$$$. Has anyone ever done this themselves?

I had new sensors put on the atermarket rims. The tire sensors are rubber and installed well. A GM dealer did the job. No complaints.

If it's rubber it's a pull through hard to screw that up man. Just take it and go through the reset procedure to relearn. Just have them use the OTC scan tool and you will be in it like flint.
