i like this pic alot
hey when i roll the fenders will i be able to roll them out a lil because i dont think just rolling the lip will clear the tire and can the front fenders be rolled also?
The billitts may only be 8" wide not 9" wide also. That could make a big difference.
looks good! now lower it n it will be even better! they do stick out a lil much, but when you lower it it will look better. my bullitts stick out, but they are the +34 offset, just enough to have that aggressive look. the cobras i believe are +26 offset, so they stick out a lil too much. but still, looks good
for some reason I keep seeing the image of a factory prepped road car....you gotta lower it and get those fenders done!
its different... I give you credit. Im tired of seeing bullets.
did you you just roll the lip or did you bow the whole edge out a lil bit? and did the SSC's make a noticeable drop?
yes i rolled the lip and yes it drop. it takes about couple more weeks for the springs to settle in and it will drop even more. my monte carlo have ssc also and you can tell how much it dropped. i don't want it to drop that much like eibach springs anyway. i just want enuff to cover most of the wheel gap that's why i choose ssc over others. my first choice was vogtland but they are out of stock and i'm not going to wait for it.
yeah i cant go too low because with how close these rims are to the top fender edge if i go to low im gonna have all types of rubbing issues....its sounds like SSC gen II is gonna be my choice do you have a before and after shot of your monte?
here are pics i took today just one day after new struts and ssc springs installed. the front seem to drop little more than the back, like i said before i have to give it some time for the springs to settle in more. i will post pic of the before/after on the monte carlo later.
ok yeah im def gonna get eibachs thanks for the pics man my 17's with 255 45 17's have an over all diameter that is an inch smaller over all that your 18's with 255 45 18's so ssc's would still leave a big gap above my setup thanks for helping me clarify eibachs here i come ...id say your dads gp will lower another 1/4 to 1/2 inch right after they set in.??
