How about those cheap Japanese tires? Like Nankang? Anyone
I think I am going to go with the BFG G-force T/A KDW's 235/50/18 Will these fitt? there only 91$ a peice and they seem like they have gotten some decent reviews.
The KDW's are a real good tire, especially if that's all you're paying for them.
Yeah its about 380 for all 4 brand new tires from Discount tires Direct
They are located right by me so I wont have to pay for shipping even though they are offering free shipping right now. Has anyone ever bought the tire replacment certificate from them? its 12.50 per tire, but they replace the tire if it were to blow or somthing withing the first 3 years. I was also wondering which is the best to use 235/50/18 are the ones Tire rack.com recommended, but ive also read that people use 245/45/18.
Just wondering what is the difference in the two.
They're mostly a summer tire, but will work okay in the winter time. I know people who use them year-round and others who use them only for summer-time. They don't provide the best snow traction, but that's why we have winter tires and factory wheels.
yeah ive read on other forums that they are good in rain, but they suck in snow. I cracked one of my rims a couple weeks ago and had to buy a brand new stock 16" rim and 4 new tires which ended up costing around 750$. I was actually kinda of pissed that I did not wait and just buy a wheel/tire package 18", but now I am glad to have an extra set of tires for the winter. The tires that I have on my stock 16" rims cost about 190$ a piece so I was always confused since the prices vary sooo much.
Most ppl replied to go with Nexan or KDW's. I think its best to just try one and find out myself.
