I found a set of G8 Rims for a great price, and I wanted to get rid of the staggered set up on my GXP so the rear stance was a little wider, and since our GXP rims are so expensive and hard to find, I was looking at G8 and GTO rims. I know they sell adapters so you can bolt on the rims properly, but is this a good idea? I have had mix feelings about it because I do drive the car hard and I am just not sure if the adapters are trust worthy. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

The other question is how wide are the G8 wheels and how big the adapters would be. Very possible that it will be so wide that you couldn't even fit them on the car.

Good point...the G8 wheels are a 30mm off set and the spacers are I believe an inch thick....That's gonna be a huge amount of space....

Check out Finlishlinewheels http://www.finishlinewheels.com/PONT...06/A-06592U80/ $289.79 for OEM 18X8 GXP wheels. This is the best deal I've found and I'm thinking about 4.
