Trans has a hard time downshifting when its cold?

Title says it all. When temps are below 140 degrees or so... it seems to hang when it downshifts (Im not talking about WOT downshifts). I could be giving it some gas and it might try to downshift from 3-2 or from 4-3 and it hangs a bit. When its warm it is fine.
 


Is the pcm commanding the shifts or have you verified with a scanner that it is telling it to downshift when it is cooler temps? Does it feel like its falling out of gear or just like its stuck in the current gear? Do you have any codes and is TCC stuck on?
 
Car kinda clunks out of gear... its hard to tell because everytime it does it I can definitely FEEL it. I let off of the gas usually. Its done it maybe 2-3 times.

It feels like it is trying to downshift in the normal spot that it would downshift... it just doesnt seem to work right when the trans is cold. I havent gotten a good scan because I cant get it to do it every time.
 
ouch tengis, sounds like the SAME thing that happend to my 2nd tranny...you can defently feel it and everytime it does it do u make a face like OUCH! yeh, GM mech's told me the tranny was fried. also mine didn't do it everytime... consider your tranny gone man.... (just speaking from the exp wid mine)
