• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Throwing codes

a quick google search can help you with that.

P0243 Supercharger wastegate solenoid fault.

P0300 Random multiple cylinder misfire

P0452 Evaporative emission control system pressure sensor low

P1133 Bank 1 sensor insufficient switching

P1653 5V Reference (B or 2) Circuit

did you move anything recently on the engine bay? Symptons?

sounds like someone needs just an old fashion tune up

this is your plug and wire locations, in case you mix a wire up.

might be a little more serious then that. i have been chasing down certain codes you have listed for a while and haven't been able to figure it out. Lmk how it goes as it might help me out as well lol

the random misfire code could be cause the gaps to tight, open them back up to 45 and see if that helps. with that code at least.

I must have screwed something up last night. New plugs and the only other thing I did was change the gap.
There are some plugs flopping around under the hood. I'm wondering if any of those are supposed to be plugged in?

Possibly, but there must be something causing all this issue, to me just how i think mine is, is more of a electrical issue, his 5V reference is pulling a code, meaning there might be a short somewhere. That 5v reference controls practically all electricals in the car mainly engine. so if that is bad it can throw off the icm which throws off spark and so on. Hopefully it is something easy for him. but depending on what all he did and disconnected or moved will help.

What plugs? you should have all of them connected. post a pic of them.

I'll take pics and post tomorrow. I'm pooped and my "pansy hands" hurt. BWAAAAAAAAAAA!

Thanks for all the help. We'll get it figured out eventually.

OK. So here come the pics of the stuff not plugged in. First, I pulled one of the new plugs to have a look.

My feeling is, that this stuff wasn't needed after all the turbo stuff was added, but I'll need you experts to tell me...........

first [pic is a the ait sensor, it would be in the intake tube.
second pic is the egr, not sure why its there, no way its hooked up i bet.

not sure where it goes on a turbo car or if its used really, i just know what it is lol

the round sensor, the egr, its sits on a pedestal and has flex tubes from the lower intake, to the rear exhaust manifold. dont think a plog had the hole for the egr, so it may be there just for looks. if it was unplugged it must be deleted.
