Switch for neon lighting??

Hey i was thinking about getting some interior neon lights in my 97 grand prix SE... any ideas as where i could put a switch to turn them on and off?
 


What about in that little cubby space? On either side of the steering wheel in the 97 se's i think
 
Where is the heated seat switch pannel? I was thinking about putting it in those cubbys but i was just cheaking out some other options..
 
Oh, and do you know if neon lights get hot? i was thinking about putting a 36" under my rear seat where it kinda hangs over.. but i dont want it to burn anything...
