Saaburu In, Pontiac Out

I picked up a Saab 9-2x Linear with 95k on it last weekend as a new daily. I already put in a short shifter and if it wasn't raining all day for the next couple of days I would've put in new bushings too. Wheels are on order as well. The only other mods will be an exhaust, tint, and coils one day, the MG will be the fast car once I get a garage for it.

Once the weather clears up I'll be taking some parts off of the Pontiac so keep an eye out in the classifieds. I'm sad to let her go, taking the tag off to put on the Saab was depressing. There's nothing wrong with the car, the chassis is knocking on 200k and it's starting to show in all the little things. It's been a wonderful 8 years with that car, but it's time to move on.

V70R's are soo hard to find for a decent price. I was looking at them before I bought my truck and just a decent one with low mileage and good history was 14-18k. And I'd only ever buy a 06-07 model, the 04-05's seemed to have more issues than the last two years.

I did my homework on them, I was looking at an 05 but I wanted a manual no matter what it was. From what I read the autos in the Volvos are as bad as ours. I knew I wouldn't get an R model, way out of my budget. You can find V70 T5 manuals and V50s eventually.

If I didn't get this Saaburu I was probably going to jump on a 9-3 Viggen, if not that then a SportCombi.

Either was it was going to be a manual wagon or a hatch if I really liked it.
