Replacing a 2006 GXP subframe

So disgusted at this point. I purchased a 2006 Grand Prix GXP last week. The seller said he replaced the headlights and repainted the bumper bc of a minor bump. Yes I purchased the car and should have inspected it better, but 35 degrees and rain outside I failed in judgment. Got home and noticed the car was 1/2” lower on the passenger side. After investigating, I found the aluminum subframe was crushed 1/2” on passenger side. Of course I tried getting ahold of the buyer, but I guess he blocked my number. What a POS...some dude named Rick around the Cincinnati area. Anyway, found a subframe for $99 at a salvage yard. Is there a good write up for replacing the subframe? Any help would be appreciated.

TIA,

Chris

put car on jack stands via the rockers, then support the engine with a engine hoist or engine support, then unbolt the rack from the frame, un bolt the motor and tranny mounts, the ball joints get popped and any lines or wiring. then support the frame with floor jacks and unbolt the frame then lower it slowly making sure you have not missed any wires or lines or bolts.

Appreciate the response. I did speak to my mechanic and he said he would have to check the book, but I may get away with as little as $200.
