Anyone know of a good shop in Chicago for 3800 S/Cs? I need an honest look at my car. I have checked for vacuum leaks and cannot find anything. Shop that fixed the LIM leak is now saying "youve got electrical problems" after replacing several components (to his credit, some of them for free). Stealership says it is the computer and wants $1100, but will not offer any type of gaurantee. In fact they go so far as to say that when I replace the computer, some codes may present because the sensors were actually bad, but were not being reported, and are further hedging their bets by saying that the local shop used aftermarket components, so they could report as well and need to be replaced. Car only has 54,000 miles on it, and I would like to get a few more years out of it (I drive 5 miles/day and ride my bike when it is fair weather).
