I have a 01 gtp with supercharger. My transmission is done, I found a used trans from engine and transmission world. I was thinking about putting a 02 transmission in my 01 gtp, will that be a good idea? or will I be making a big mistake? This is going to be my 3rd trans. Help me!!!!!!
 


Tough to help you with what you've posted.

Are your failures all the same?
What happened to your transmissions that made them fail?
Would you like to improve the one you are looking to buy before putting it in?
Do you have any modifications on the car for power etc?

When i put the car in any of the drives there's a loud grinding noise. I don't have any mods, mechanic said it would cost too much to rebuild the trans, "it's that bad" he said.
