Just wanted to say hi...

I've been into building cars for the past 10 years or so....mostly fox mustangs, so I guess you could say I made the switch. I just bought a 2006 GP Gxp and I'll be honest, my first two months of owning it havent gone very well...but I still like the car. :th_thumbsup-wink:

Welcome to the forums. What hasn't gone well? There is tons of info and lots of knowledgeable people on this site to help you out with whatever issues you may have.

I purchased the car with just over 36k miles on it, and just a couple of weeks ago the transmission went out. I went back and forth with the dealer because supposedly there were some issues with the paperwork for the extended warranty....which is bs....but anyways they overhauled the trans, replaced 1st and 2nd gear bands...and the car pulls a lot harder now. I'm kinda glad things worked out the way they did....now I'm already thinking about that turbo kit.
 
have fun with your underpowered, cool sounding v8. no hate, as i would drive one on the daily, but i would never put money into that car thinking about making it fast.
