Over the past 2-3 weeks we've had a bunch of rain in Houston and I noticed ever time it rains (and I'm driving) my carpet gets soaked both front and rear floor boards. There is no evidence that my sun roof is leaking or the weatherstrip on the doors are failing. I don't run my ac much and I've only noticed this when I drive in the rain. The right side of seems to be drenched more than the left side.

Wer are you planning on getting one? I got mine from eBay, but you can never usually get them cheaper than $11 with shipping. I often see people around here getting them for under $5 at the dealer
 
I remember when i had my 97 GTP a few years back and i thought it was the wiper cowl.. Turns out i had a huge hole rusted through on my floorboard damn salt.
