Monsoon amp to power a 600w sub. Bad idea?

I got my hands on a Directed Electronics 3108 sub. It's a 4-ohm, dual voice coil, 600w model. I'm getting a new amp and speakers installed today, but was wondering if I could use the Monsoon amp to power that sub? It seems like I could since the Monsoon is 2-ohm, but I'm not sure if it's even worth it or if it will sound decent. I was just thinking I'd have the installer do it since he's already doing everything else. Any opinions or suggestions are greatly appreciated!
 


I would just wait til you get another good amp installed, your going to have like 20 watts to play with there. Don't bother...
