L67 Engine Cover Bolts?

OK - when I bought my L67 it was in pieces. So now trying to put it back together with a box of bolts. I have the valve cover bolts, front cover bolts, and W/P bolts sorted out. Question is which bolts are for the rear main seal cover? I found some, but they stick past the cover over a half inch. Is that correct? Sorry for the dumb question, I'm very new to the 3800 world.....:th_scratchhead:

first question is just how far apart it is? if the crank is out toss it in the art pile. engine would need shop time to be rebuilt.

the rear covers bolts are super small and have a plastic ring around them to center the cover around the bolts.

Rotating assembly was still in the motor and turning freely. All the covers and heads were off, oil pan was still on the engine. Guy took it apart because 2 cylinders had low compression and he thought that he had bad pistons. After I inspected it I found that the heads were cracked. I bought the engine and tore it down the rest of the way and took it to the machine shop for boring, line honing, decking (if needed). Everything has been replaced or reconditioned. The machine shop put the long block engine together with a 1 year 25k warranty. All is well on that end.

Just trying to figure out a few of the bolts. I believe I know which ones they are just double checking. I was hoping that someone would have one they could take a picture of. There are no plastic spacers in my parts box....

Does anyone have access to a engine that is out of the car that could check what bolts hold on the back engine cover? Please....
