I've had this car since januRy and have rebuilt the whole damn car as far as the suspension goes and I'm still getting a clicking noise from the front end when I turn the steering wheel certain ways
The list:
New-
Front: loaded struts sway bar links and bushings lower control arm bushings and ball joints front wheel bearings brake lines and oem gm half shafts
And as for the rear the same everything new not even 100 miles on these parts also I changed the intermediate steering shaft put new rims and tires on and the car drives and handles smooth as ever but the clicking noise is driving me nuts I'm lead to believe it's the rack but I've been told it's not. :/ wth could it be everything was done right and greased/ torqued to spec I assure you

In parking lot and you are moving slow or not moving. Turn wheel and get a couple clicks?

Splined steering shafts on some years would get a skip stick condition when the splines had to slide.

GM makes a grease kit for $15-$20. I emptied a can of fluid film into the boot under dash and got rid of my click.

It sounds like ur talking about the intermediate steering shaft that goes through the firewall? And I've changed that out less than 20 miles ago it took a lot of fine tuning to get it tight and to get the steering sensor just right so the traction control and abs would quit going hay wire. I'm positive it's not coming from that area of the car.
