fuel pump prices?

I'm ditching my Walbro system that came with my car, whoever put it in did a shady wiring job with the hotwire kit. It may not be the pump it self that went out, it may be a relay, but having speaker wires running through the canister to the pump worries me enough...

Just for grins I'm curious what everyone is spending for factory replacement fuel pumps. If possible list your location, the prices you were quoted for different brands, and where you got them from. Please feel free to post internet prices (zzp, intense, sponsors,)

STL area, I just spent $325 with my shop discount at Al's auto parts for a Delphi fuel pump module. The cheap no name that Al's, autozone and o'riellys was around $260. Local GM dealer Wiers Chevrolet wanted around $425.

I know you said you didn't want a walbro setup, but this kit is the real deal.

$210 for the pump and harness

I put it in my GTP this summer and couldn't be happier. I've only put on around 3k miles so far but it works like a champ. It starts the same, doesn't require long engine priming(maybe 1 sec longer), pushes more volume, ect).

As I have stated, I have a walbro setup. Switching to factory parts to solve a wiring issue. Shady wiring= bad news. Once I figure everything out, I'll have a spare walbro hopefully.

But I am very happy to know that your walbro is the real deal, have you seen the sham-wow commercials? I hear it absorbs water like a champ.
