dumb headlight question

my car came with really gay looking ebay projectors that suck, i am swithing to a black and chrome, stock looking headlight and im wondering if the light that is in the "corners" is the dim or bright, or are they the same light bulb in the main assembly and the corners are just the parking light? clear as mud? lol
